We don’t need more politics—we need people who know what it means to struggle, survive, and lead with love

WaWa’s Priorities for District 7

  • Support for Youth & Seniors

  • Affordable Housing & Homeownership

  • Economic Empowerment

  • Community - Rooted Public Safety

  • Reparative Justice for American Freedmen

Support for Youth & Seniors

I’ve spent over a decade walking with young people through real-life trauma. I’ve also stood with our elders who are being priced out, neglected, and overlooked. My priority is to expand:

  • Mentorship programs rooted in lived experience

  • Elder services that honor our community builders

  • Safe spaces where generations can learn, heal, and thrive—together

Affordable Housing & Homeownership

People are being pushed out of Boston every day. I’ve seen neighbors disappear under the weight of rising rents, bad policy, and predatory development. I’ll fight for:

  • Rent-to-own programs so residents can build wealth—not just survive

  • Stronger tenant protections and rent stabilization

  • Public land and city funds directed toward community-rooted development

Economic Empowerment

I’ll work to make sure Boston’s economy reflects the people who keep it moving. That means:

  • Supporting Black-owned businesses and local cooperatives

  • Expanding job access and training in growing sectors

  • Making public contracts more accessible to BIPOC entrepreneurs and tradespeople

Community-Rooted Public Safety

As someone who has lived on both sides of the system, I know that true public safety comes from connection, not criminalization. I will:

  • Expand violence prevention programs and trauma support

  • Fund unarmed crisis response teams

  • Prioritize restorative approaches and community healing over over-policing

Reparative Justice for American Freedmen

As a descendant of American Freedmen, I’m committed to policies that directly address the historical and generational harms faced by our people. That includes:

  • Local initiatives that acknowledge lineage-based injustice

  • Economic pathways, land access, and investments in our healing

  • Making Boston a national leader in municipal reparative justice

These aren’t just policies—they’re personal. I’ve lived this. I’ve fought for this. And now I’m ready to bring this vision to City Hall.
